I've been here several times. The food and service are excellent with reasonable prices. Nice atomosphere in the old train station.
Great ambiance. Super friendly and attentive staff. Bartender was amazing, super delicious dirty martini!! Apps & food were on point. I order the linguine & white clam sauce and I had more clams than pasta which was great with me. They have mussels on the app menu I don't care for them in red sauce and the chef was very accommodating and made mine with garlic and white wine sauce. Calamari super crispy. Overall I give it 5 stars because that's what you get. I will definitely be back again and again.
On Saturday there was a one year birthday party with 80 people in attendance . It was brunch buffet style. The wait staff was very attentive filling water glasses and refilling drinks. Clearing away dishes almost immediately. First I served myself 1 English muffin eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, sausage link, French toast. I skipped the potatos. Then I went back for chicken martini, baked ziti and eggplant parm. The food was tasty, hot and plentiful. Modern on the Rails knows how to take care a ton of people. Great job folks. Celebrated my mom's birthday at Modern on the Rails. The calamari and garlic bread were fantastic! I enjoyed the truffle chicken. The desserts are pretty small, but good. My aunt and grandmother enjoyed the burger, but said the sweet potato fries were a bit bland. Service was great. The staff was very attentive and came over often to make sure everything was okay.
Went here for the first time and was very impressed. The ambience is great. It's the old train station in Mamaroneck and it's a great space. The bar is so inviting and the whole scene is nice. It is loud but everything else is great so it doesn't matter. Food was delicious too. Even the bread was scrumptious lol!! It seems fancy but you make it what you want it to be that night. Prices were reasonable considering. Definitely going back!!
Such a great place! I've been to their other location and was excited to try out this one. I tried the empanadas, salad, bread, chicken parm, fish, and zucchini. Everything I tried was fresh and flavorful. I would definitely come back here again. This spot has a cozy atmosphere. We sat next to the fire. Our server was friendly and attentive too. I would come back to try more of their food options. Such a great dinner spot!
Music was a tad load and somewhat annoying. Service was good. Chairs comfortable My chicken Parmesan was generously sized, perfectly seasoned, cooked just right. Calamari was Cosmopolitan Bruschetta was a like a pizza!
